- Hi and a warm welcome to my blog. My little place in the cyber crafting world. I'm Elaine and I'm 41 years and married to the most amazing man I could wish for. My passion is all forms of crafting and I'm extremely lucky to be on the design teams for Leonie Pujol, Toni Darroch at stamps by me limited and Eclectic Ellapu challenge blog. I also do a bit of demo work for stix2 anything and I love it. I've recently retrained after being made redundant to become a Teaching Assistant which is a very rewarding job. Well I hope you like what you see on my blog. I'm always grateful for people taking a peek and leaving messages x

Hello and hows everyone in blogland. So how quick has the week flown by again ! As my regular readers know I had some root spinal block injections on Thursday not particularly pleasant but not too bad. I stayed in hospital for the afternoon and they let me out once I could walk properly on my leg !! A huge thanks to Maria for taking me and my hubby for looking after me. I don't know what I would do without those pair. I have to have physio and see the consultant again but wont know if its worked for 2-6 weeks. Anyway I did have a few days off and on Saturday went to the best workshop I have ever been to. The lovely Sue from Crafty bunch organised it and the wonderful Pauline Wheeler taught us how to make the most fantastic book ! I did not want it to end, but pictures to follow in the week. So today I am sharing my DT piece for fantastic Tuesday and theme is monochrome.

Well after my massive mix up last week with my DT card for fantastic Tuesday where I posted the wrong card. Here it is again on the correct day.....oops oops and more oops.
So the theme is anything goes with wings. I used my new spellbinders and a sizzix butterfly die. Hope it ticks the boxes. I just loved the mint colour card aswell. Do pop over and look at the wonderful creations from my fellow DT. Hope everyone is having a good week so far. Big hugs Elaine xx

Happy world card making day ! Here is a card I made the other night, sorry not been able to craft today way too tired and work tomorrow ! (Huge sigh)
I used some kaisercraft paper - think it was rustic harmony that I got the other day from the amazing shop I go to for club once a fortnight - Crafty bunch love it. I also got a matching pack of die cuts. I used one just in the bottom right corner and added a rub on. Hobby house topper & flowers and some prima pearls.A quick card as I have been so short of time this week. But that will change on Monday as I have a day off yippee !!
Anyway ill leave you with one of my favourite photos from the wedding. I love it.
Thanks for visiting and leaving comments, it is always appreciated. Happy crafting
Hugs Elaine xx

Hello to all my wonderful followers hope you are all having a fab week. Its the start of a new challenge over at eclectic ellapu on the first of every month and the theme for the purple team was set my me this month yay ! I chose texture paste/ embossing. So plenty of scope there. I made a tag. I purchased texture paste recently to use with my Tim Holtz stencils and love it. Heres my halloween texture tag.......
I wanted a different colour for my paste so took a little and mixed it with some imagination crafts silkies and loved the way I changed the colour. Think I will try even more colours now. Cheaper than buying lots of different pastes !!
Well please do drop by and take a look at what my wonderful team mates have made.
Thanks for stopping by
