Hi and a warm welcome to my blog. My little place in the cyber crafting world.
I'm Elaine and I'm 41 years and married to the most amazing man I could wish for. My passion is all forms of crafting and I'm extremely lucky to be on the design teams for Leonie Pujol, Toni Darroch at stamps by me limited and Eclectic Ellapu challenge blog. I also do a bit of demo work for stix2 anything and I love it.
I've recently retrained after being made redundant to become a Teaching Assistant which is a very rewarding job. Well I hope you like what you see on my blog. I'm always grateful for people taking a peek and leaving messages x
Good evening to all the fellow crafters out there in blog land. A fresh new challenge over at fan-tastic tuesday. The sponsor
One of my favourite themes anything goes.
My DT card
I have used the image pansy ring which is fantastic. I have coloured using my distress markers. Matted and layered with red foil card & some green papers from a mens pad from hunkydory ! It doesn't just need to be for men. A simple ticket stamp and matching punch from SU. Hope you like it. Have a great evening, thanks for looking xx
Hope everyone in blog land is having a great weekend. I am currently staying at my brothers house looking after his cat. He flew to Mexico on Wed for 2 weeks, lucky !!! So have had a little bit of relaxing craft time , however with a serious limited stash. Reminds me of the days I had just started to craft !! Way before the hoarding started..... Now i have more than i know what to do with. But Im sure all us crafty people are the same.
So its time for a new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu, the theme is gems, sequins. Heres my make
Tonights blog post is a wooden kaisercraft set of drawers.
I have been making this for a couple of months, i put it together, painted it and then left it for awhile. Then decided that G45 couture would be perfect ! So I covered the drawers and top with paper.
Added the matching embellishments, and one of my own necklaces & feather. I have also used metal handles which are by Hobbyhouse. They are gorgeous. I then put liquid pearls in red to hide the screws. I do hope you like it. I really enjoyed making it. Thanks so much for taking a look. Have a great evening
Morning to all the lovely people that peek by my blog. Hope everyone has managed to stay safe and well in these terrible weather conditions. It has been a horrible week for me have felt really out of sorts for a few days, was even off my food ( thats bad for me - love my food ) and generally took a massive effort to just get out of bed for work. So haven't crafted at all until I had to quickly put this together for the new challenge at Hobbycutz. The theme was blues and browns......
I used one of rangers biggest tags and covered the gorgeous butterfly in one of my new distress paints. I did struggle with this but at least I managed to get it done so I didn't let the team down. Please do hop over and take a look and why not join in. On the plus side my other half managed to get me 2 rare pads for my g45 collection for Valentines !
Anyway thanks for stopping by , its lovely to read comments left, have a great weekend xx
Hello and a huge welcome to my newest follower groovy_grommit much appreciated. Well my day off today has been super busy with lots of small things that needed to get done. However I have joined Graphic 45 Ning site and its soooooo fabulous ! This is what I made this evening when I sat down for a couple of hours after tea.
My first g45 upload to the Ning site. This is purely for all things g45 and let me tell you it's jam packed full of g45 makes. I also managed a few Dt makes which I can't show you yet. Well I hope everyone has had a great day, thanks for looking it makes the hours spent worthwhile. Take care.
The Sun is shining thank goodness as the last few days have been awful weather wise. I have managed to drag myself into my craft room to try and get some DT work done. I have discovered I'm not immune to catching a cold as I thought I was !!!! Last night I had to tuck myself up in bed early after a dose of medicine.
Well it's the start of a new challenge over at Hobbycutz and the sponsor is Aurora Wings.
The theme was for a lady.
I tried to make a fantasy style card but not sure if I did a good enough job lol
I have used a Hobbycutz laser swirl corner and just added some stamped Poppy's onto it.
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
Take care, thanks for stopping by and taking a peek xx
